Save Money With WDCs

Most activities and resident entertainment in nursing homes and assisted living communities cost $100-$150 per hour which averages out to $62.50 for every 30 minutes. My "Weekly Digital Concerts" cost only $20 for every 30 minutes which is a saving of 68%!

I have been playing at my local nursing home once per month for free since 2022 but if I were to be charging them as I typically charge other similar venues, it would cost them $150 and in my experience, they could afford that once per month even though they would love me to come out weekly.

I could not afford to play that much for free and they could not afford $150 per week but now, with my "Weekly Digital Concerts", I can deliver the magic of classic music and entertainment at just a fraction of the cost. In fact, instead of 1 show per month for $150, I can deliver 4 shows a month for only $80! ...That is a 47% reduction in price with a show count increase of 300%!

Engaging & Entertaining

Your WDCs have been "Senior Community Tested"and have proved to be highly engaging, highly entertaining as well as a highly anticipated weekly event for both the residents and the staff.

Increased Sense Of Well-Being

Your WDCs feature high quality performances of the greatest and most popular music that your residents grew up listening to so each episode takes them back to memories of their parents and childhood, their first kiss, beautiful moments with their spouse, raising their children and many other beautiful memories.

These classic songs and the wonderful memories they bring back are comforting to them and make them feel connected to their past that lives on through their music.

Reconnection With Their Youth

The music performed in your WDCs is the music your residents grew up listening to, danced their first dance to or received their first kiss to so seeing and hearing these songs performed again immediately connects them to their past and the excitement of their youth which improves their mood, gives them hope as well as improves the relationships with their caregivers.

Purpose for (Living?) / Purpose & Hope

I have personally experienced the impact that the music of their childhood can have on a Senior Living Community Member... for example:

I have people tell me all the time that they look forward to my show every month so my show gives them something to look forward to enjoying.

I had another lady named Miss Betty who said that she wanted to feel well enough by the next time I came back so that she could get up and dance with me so she made sure to go to all her physical therapy sessions to recover from her hip injury.

I had another lady named Miss Judy who had been feeling very depressed for a while and had stopped engaging life like she had in the past and one of the staff members asked me to visit her, say hi and talk with her for a little bit and she began to feel better and next show I had there she was there all dressed and her make up on and a smile on her face.

Memories tied to music are SUPER POWERFUL and can inspire seniors to keep going, to get feeling better like Miss Betty, to get out of bed and re-engage life like Miss Judy or just have something to look forward to next week and this is the heart and soul and the purpose behind the creation of your WDCs.

Comfort & Love

I have been there and received the call when a beautiful lady who used to watch my shows was now in hospice and about to pass away. I was asked by the staff to come and sing to her while she was literally on her death bed so I sang her a few songs and said my good-byes and we both said "I love you" and "I will see you again" and I left. Afterward the staff and her family thanked me for all the comfort that I was able to bring to her during her last moments on this Earth through the gift of music... the music that she grew up on.

I have personal visions and hopes of these WDCs being a comfort to beautiful souls in the final days of their life as they watch and even rewatch these recorded performances of their favorite music... the music that brings back sweet memories of the life they have lived and the love they shared with the precious people they lived it with.

I also have visions and hopes of these WDCs bringing comfort to the family members of those who have a loved one about to pass. My hope is that the family members will feel a little relief seeing a smile come across their loved one's face as they watch their favorite songs performed or that the familiar music would stimulate a conversation about a memory that they had long forgotten about and bring healing or a little joy in the middle of an otherwise very difficult time.
